Creating Narratives

The complex emotional web associated with identity crises, false love, and insecurity is the main topic of discussion. Through their body language, emotions, and facial expressions, my models show vulnerability and provide a window into the quiet struggles that many people deal with on a daily basis. Confusion, the difficulty of reconciling self-hatred with the flimsy hope of self-love, and the suffering that results from feeling as though one's own identity is fragmented or incomplete are all reflected in each position. This piece is the most intimate I've done so far since it captures my own struggles with self-worth and insecurities. It serves as both a visual journal of suffering and a call to comprehend, relate to, and eventually heal.
